Our housekeeping services include:

• Housekeepers may live in your home, or live out.
• Part Time: Working pattern might include 3 minimum hours up to 12 hours a day on specific days per week or one off
• Full Time: Housekeeper works for you minimum 5days maximum 6 days a week with a minimum fixed contract of Six months to One Year.
• Temporary: Housekeeper works 5 to 6days a week for a short term period minimum one week and maximum three months.

What is expected of a Housekeeper?

• Employed by SAWASAWA after being vetted in person and reference checked
• Updated Enhanced DBS that can be verified online
• Fully Insured with employer liability
• Proven experience with references available
• Updated Mandatory training including, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety,Fire safety, Privacy and Dignity, Basic Handling of Medication and Manual Handling.

If the training you require support with is not mentioned here, please be reassured that it is highly likely we will be able to cover as our Housekeepers are trained in many areas of home management.

Housekeepers are perfect for those families that need support requiring assistance around the home each week. Our Part-time housekeepers cover the same broad range of duties as live-in housekeepers, just not to the same extent. Housekeepers are there to give busy families or elderly a helping hand when they need it most. Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Organising and Cleaning the home
• Laundry and ironing
• Preparing meals and meal planning including for meal kits e.g Hello Fresh, Gousto etc
• Grocery Shopping including online orders
• Running errands: parcel and mail postage, picking up groceries or collecting a prescription, school run, driving to birthday and other kids activities on your behalf.
• Household chores: declutter, caring for plants, water reading, deep cleaning ovens, fridge&freezer, changing beds, meeting tradesmen and collecting deliveries
• Childcare including school pick-up, birthday party companion, homework support, school uniform prep
• Elderly care including Basic Handling of Medication, personal care, accompanying you to Doctor’s appointment
• Caring for your pets and dog walking

Services are flexible and can be tailored to your needs. We will happily put together a package and place the right person who can fulfill those tasks and fit in with your lifestyle.
